Terms & Conditions — Prague World Cup Playoff Trip

1. Trip Overview & Structure

This is a proposed group travel arrangement for travel to Prague for the Republic of Ireland vs Czechia World Cup Playoff scheduled for 26 March 2026.

Due to the nature of group and charter travel, this trip may be structured with separate components. In particular, flights and accommodation may be confirmed and priced separately, rather than as a combined package.

Journeys by Design acts as an agent in arranging travel services and reserves the right to structure the trip in a way that ensures it can operate safely, responsibly, and in the best interests of travellers.

2. Pricing & Variable Costs

All prices shared during the enquiry and promotional stage are indicative only and subject to confirmation.

Final pricing may vary depending on:

Number of passengers travelling

Airline and charter costs

Hotel availability, standard, and location

Room occupancy (solo / twin / triple share)

Exchange rates and supplier conditions

Journeys by Design reserves the right to adjust pricing and/or the structure of the trip if supplier costs or operational requirements change.

3. Minimum Numbers Required

This trip requires a minimum number of passengers in order to operate.

If minimum numbers are not reached:

The trip will not proceed

All deposits and payments made will be refunded in full

No further compensation will be payable

4. Deposits & Payment Schedule

Deposit

A €49 per-person deposit is required to reserve a seat on the proposed charter flight.

The deposit:

Secures your place on the flight

Confirms your intention to travel

Deposits are:

Non-refundable if you choose not to proceed

Refunded in full only if the trip does not operate

Balance Payment

Once the flight is confirmed and passenger numbers are secured:

You will receive written confirmation and a payment link

A balance payment will be required to cover the flight cost

Payment will be due immediately upon confirmation

Once the balance payment has been made, all monies are strictly non-refundable, in line with airline and supplier conditions.

Failure to pay the balance by the specified deadline may result in cancellation of your place.

5. What’s Included / Not Included

Included

Return charter flights

Luggage allowance (as specified at confirmation)

Airport taxes and applicable charges

Not Included

Accommodation (offered separately as an optional add-on)

Match tickets

Travel insurance

Transfers unless specifically stated

Meals and personal expenses

Accommodation may be booked independently by the traveller or arranged by Journeys by Design upon request, subject to availability and pricing at the time of booking.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

If Journeys by Design cancels the trip:

All deposits and any payments made will be refunded in full

If the traveller cancels:

The deposit is non-refundable

Once the balance payment has been made, no refunds are available

Name changes or substitutions may be permitted subject to airline rules, availability, and additional charges.

7. Travel Documents & Responsibility

Travellers are responsible for ensuring they have:

A valid passport (minimum 6 months validity recommended)

Any required visas or travel permissions

Adequate travel insurance

Journeys by Design is not responsible for losses, delays, or denied travel resulting from incomplete documentation or failure to meet entry requirements.

8. Changes by the Traveller

After booking:

Name changes, substitutions, or other amendments may incur fees

All requests must be made in writing

Changes are subject to supplier approval and availability

9. Changes by the Operator

If operational changes occur (including but not limited to flight times, aircraft type, or accommodation options):

Travellers will be notified as soon as reasonably possible

Reasonable alternatives will be offered where available

No compensation is payable for changes outside the operator’s control.

10. Liability

Journeys by Design acts as an agent for airlines, accommodation providers, and other third-party suppliers.

Journeys by Design is not liable for:

Airline delays, cancellations, or schedule changes

Decisions made by airlines, hotels, or suppliers

Loss of personal items

Injury, illness, or disruption outside our control

Disappointment relating to match tickets (which are not included)

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended.

11. Behaviour & Conduct

All travellers are expected to behave respectfully towards:

Fellow passengers

Airline and hotel staff

Local laws and customs

Disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the trip at the traveller’s own expense.

12. Data Protection

Personal information is used solely for the purpose of organising the trip and providing required details to suppliers.

All data is handled in accordance with GDPR.

13. Acceptance of Terms

By paying the €49 deposit, you confirm that:

You have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions

You understand that pricing and trip structure may be revised prior to final confirmation

You understand that flights and accommodation may be structured separately

You accept that deposits are non-refundable unless the trip does not operate

You accept full responsibility for meeting all travel and entry requirements

These Terms & Conditions were updated on 29th Jan 2026 to reflect the current trip structure and apply to all bookings and confirmations made from that date forward.
