Terms & Conditions — Prague World Cup Playoff Trip

1. Trip Overview & Variable Pricing

This is a group travel package for a proposed 2-night break in Prague for the Republic of Ireland vs Czechia World Cup Playoff (26 March 2026).
All pricing shared is approximate and subject to change until the trip is fully confirmed.

Final price will depend on:

The number of passengers travelling

Room occupancy (solo / twin / triple share)

Airline pricing and availability at time of booking

Hotel availability and exchange rates

Journeys by Design reserves the right to adjust pricing if supplier costs change.

2. Minimum Numbers Required

This trip requires a minimum of 189 travellers to operate.
If minimum numbers aren’t reached:

The trip will not go ahead

All paid deposits will be refunded in full

No further compensation or alternative arrangements will be offered

3. Deposit & Payment Schedule

A deposit (amount stated at booking) is required to secure your place.

Deposits are refundable ONLY if the trip does not go ahead.

Once minimum numbers are met and the trip is confirmed, you will receive written notification and a due date for final payment.

Full payment becomes due immediately upon confirmation.

Once full payment is made, it becomes strictly non-refundable, as per supplier terms.

Failure to pay the balance by the deadline may result in your place being cancelled with loss of deposit.

4. What’s Included / Not Included

This trip includes:

Return charter flights (or confirmed flight option)

2-night stay in a 4-star hotel in Prague Old Town, bed & breakfast

Airport taxes and charges

This trip does not include:

Match tickets

Travel insurance

Meals (other than breakfast)

Transfers unless stated

Any extras or discretionary purchases

5. Cancellations & Refunds

If Journeys by Design cancels the trip (e.g., insufficient numbers, supplier withdrawal), deposits will be refunded in full.

If the traveller cancels after the trip is confirmed:

No refunds are available

Name changes may be possible subject to airline/hotel rules and fees

Any additional supplier charges will apply

6. Travel Documents & Responsibility

All travellers are responsible for ensuring they have:

A valid passport (minimum 6 months’ validity recommended)

Required visas, documents, or entry permissions

Travel insurance covering cancellations, medical, and personal belongings

Journeys by Design cannot accept liability for refused boarding, entry issues, or losses caused by incomplete travel documentation.

7. Changes by the Traveller

After booking:

Name changes, room changes, or passenger substitutions may incur fees

All changes must be requested in writing

Changes are subject to airline/hotel approval and availability

8. Changes by the Operator

In rare cases, it may be necessary to make changes to flights, hotels, timings, or itinerary due to circumstances outside our control (e.g., airline schedule changes, operational issues, force majeure).
If this happens, you will be notified as soon as possible.
Reasonable alternative arrangements will be offered.

9. Liability

Journeys by Design acts as an agent for airlines, hotels, and travel suppliers.
We are not liable for:

Delays, cancellations, or operational decisions made by airlines or hotels

Loss of personal belongings

Injury, illness, or incidents outside our control

Any disappointment related to not securing match tickets (as they are not included in this package)

Travellers join the trip at their own risk and are strongly advised to have comprehensive travel insurance.

10. Behaviour & Conduct

All travellers are expected to behave responsibly and respect:

Fellow passengers

Hotel property

Local laws and customs

Disruptive behaviour may result in removal from the group trip at the traveller’s own cost.

11. Data Protection

Your information is used solely for the purposes of organising your booking and ensuring suppliers have the correct traveller details.
Data is handled in accordance with GDPR.

12. Acceptance of Terms

By paying your deposit, you confirm that:

You have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions

All information provided is accurate

You accept full responsibility for meeting entry and travel requirements
